Elisabeth+Tim Save the Date

I am sooooo excited about this lady’s wedding! Elisabeth has ALWAYS been a huge source of encouragement for me, especially creatively. We went through the Future Leader’s Program together and I was in a position where I “didn’t know what to do with my life.” She may not know, but I always walked away from ready to take on the world. I can remember when her and Tim first started dating…and now the rest is history.

Elisabeth and Tim are getting married at a beautiful historic church in Virginia (near my old house :)) and having the reception at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. In an email she described the garden atrium and I got goosebumps! haha! It’s that romantic!!…and I tend to me more emotional than most.

“…trees growing up through the floor, with an indoor stream and fountains on stone floors… glass walls and a huge skylight where we’ll see the sunset over the dance floor…all the trees have tiny lights and the tables will be tucked in between the trees…”

Needless to say, in the design she wanted an magical, romantic look emphasizing the botanical garden, yet organic and natural with a touch of vintage. I can’t wait to see the actual ceremony and reception all set up, but for now her Save the Dates are a glimpse as what’s to come…I’m designing her invitations as well, so be prepared for more scrolls and floral.
