This was one of the little garments I made Sunday. I found a vintage shower curtain thrifting and it was  such a pretty shade of pink and I loved the lace trim. I instantly had a couple projects in mind for the $1.75 purchase.  When sewing I usually use recycled fabrics and I tend to be drawn towards curtains. I can always find cute prints AND I just keep the bottom hem…one less step. It may be a bit lazy, but I try to create and alter based on what’s already been done. Simplicity baby!  ha!

Restyled: Baby Skirt

Well for this skirt I wanted it nice and fluffy for Julianne, but not quite “tutu fluffy.” More for an “everyday girly look.” Oh man, this little one is in for it. Since the fabric was sheer, I added several layers of various lengths. I just sewed on the elastic waistband and botta-bing-botta-boom it was done.
