1. Shabby Apple is a dress company I came across a few months ago. Some of my favs are the ones below- I LOVE the bow one!

Actually, the bridesmaid’s dresses for the wedding I am in this weekend are all Shabby Apple. When I received the dress I instantly fell in love with this company! Not only was it packaged well with extra attention to the details, but I was excited to find out about WHERE the dress was made and by WHO! Check out the label below…

Shabby Apple’s bio on Twitter says, “A women’s dress company that offers couture with a conscience.” That pretty much sums up who they are. I love supporting companies that are benefiting others. Be sure to visit their website. They have a great selection of dresses…perfect for work, play or special events. They even have accessories, shoes and girls dresses!
2. I am just in love with Rifle Paper Co.‘s designs! The illustrations are just so enchanting! I love custom work and Anna Bond’s painting are just so whimsical and inspiring. I love the calligraphy work as well. That is one of my goal’s for 2010- learn calligraphy. Make sure to check out the blog to see the latest and greatest.

3. I stumped across Nonpareil Magazine a few weeks go and love what either doing. It’s an online wedding magazine- complete with style tips, DIY tutorials and decor ideas. Isn’t the table setting above just so pretty?! Brides, here’s yet another resource for you! :)

4. When designing a project and finalizing my swatch choices, I often visit the Colour Lovers website. It’s helpful for me because I can create a color palette and even download the swatches directly into an Illustrator file. You can browe other users palettes they’ve created, search for colors based on a keyword or get the color palette from a picture. Plus, the community can rate your palettes and there are cute little comments like, “We think you have the highest color IQ.” You know, good for the self esteem. ha!

Well, have a FABULOUS weekend! I have a full week coming up of finished designs and new DIY tutorials.
