Julia’s Poppies Design is an independent design studio, focusing on wedding invitation design and social stationery. We are currently seeking:

+ Studio Intern (On-site)
+ Design Intern (Remote)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Creative individual with an interest in stationery and print design. A knack for marketing and/or styling are a plus. You will get hands-on experience working for a small, growing business. Our internship is a 3-6 month position and eligible for an internship credit (if needed). This is an unpaid position. A paid position after the internship is not guaranteed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
An intern’s duties may include, but are not limited to:

+ Formatting + Writing content for online forums (Vendor Portfolios, Blog, Website, etc.)
+ Stationery Assembly + Packaging + Shipping customer orders
+ Assisting in creating & executing upcoming marketing plans
+ Assisting with styling product photo shoots
+ Tracking Inventory + Ordering
+ Running Errands (Gas Reimbursed)

SKILLS
Applicants must possess the following:

+ Internet savviness + social media etiquette
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop + Illustrator (Design Intern)
+ Good communication skills (written + verbal)
+ Exceptional attention to detail

*Not Required, but would be extremely helpful:

+ Knowledge of: HTML + WordPress, Design + Printing Process
+ Have personal laptop

DETAILS: The position is on-site at our Flowery Branch, GA studio. Must have reliable transportation and preferable live in North Georgia.

+ 1-2 Days/Week, Approx. 5-10 hrs/week
+ School Credit
